Jammu, Feb 3 : A local court issued notice to Bharti Airtel through its Chief Operating Officer/ Business Heads Delhi and Jammu and Imran Khan Durani Service Head Jammu and asked to file objections Court after hearing Adv Vishal Kapur appearing for the petitioner issued notice to Bharti Airtel Through its Chief Operating Officer/ Business Heads Delhi and Jammu and Imran Khan Durani Service Head Jammu and directed them to file objections.
According to petition an accredited scribe from Jammu has filed a petition against the Bharti Airtel for its unfair trade practice, wherein, the service provider, crossing all limits, made calls to his friends after obtaining numbers from the call list of the scribe for recovery of due bill of amount Rs 819 against his post paid number9797637828, which he could not pay due to ill health.
Stating the method of recovery as illegal and facing humiliation before the friends by Bharti Airtel, the compliant has filed a defamation of Rs 5 Lakh against the company. (JNF) |
