Jammu, Mar 4: In a broad day light, two snatchers snatched Rs 49,000 from a woman when she was going home after withdrawing the money from an ATM at Trikuta Nagar. Police sources said that the victim identified as Gomti Devi wife of Pyare Lal of Chattishgarh presently at Trikuta Nagar. "As the woman came out the ATM, some unidentified snatchers who were waiting outside the kiosk snatched the purse containing Rs 49,000 from her and fled from spot speeding up their motorcycle", said a police officer quoting the victim. Police officer also said that the motorcycle was without registration number plate owing to address of the owner of the motorcycle could not be ascertained. A case under 382 0f RPC stands registered at Police Station Trikuta Nagar, however, no arrest was made till last reports came in. |
