| Recruitment institutions undermined in J&K: Hamid Choudhary | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, Mar 4: People's Democratic Party (PDP) leader and coordinator for Jammu-Poonch Parliamentary constituency, Abdul Hamid Choudhary today said that incumbent government has demoralized and undermined institutions like State Service Selection Board (SSRB), Public Services Commission (PSC) and Employment Exchanges set up to recruit youth in a fair manner and instead encouraged ad hocism. This way, while deserving stands ignored, those appointed in clear violations of rules have been craving for their regularisations and in between what has suffered sternly is 'work'. The annual report of PSC is indicative of the fact that government had been recruiting people at its whim considering system as personal fiefdom. This was the reason why entire system has been corrupted by the incumbent government and genuine and deserving ignored. Recruitments under various schemes have created a huge chunk of employees to whom government is unable to even pay salaries. Had the job of recruitment fairly left to PSC or SSRB, situation would not have been so grim, Choudhary Hamid said. Choudhary Hamid said People's Democratic Party (PDP) stands for giving people of Jammu and Kashmir a transparent and credible government where deserving will be given their due share. He urged people to strengthen hands of party patron Mufti Mohammad Sayeed and party Chief, Mehbooba Mufti so that rule of law is established in Jammu and Kashmir State. Be it recruitment agencies or anti-graft institutions everything stands virtually demolished by the present regime, he alleged adding that no one other than PDP can set the system in order. |
