Jammu, Mar 4: Prohit Sabha Martand Improvement Charitable Trust (PSMICT) today expressed anguish over neglect of Kashmiri Hindu shrines here at press club Jammu. Addressing the media person, Trust president MK Yogi expressed his anguish over total neglect of government, the burning problems of Kashmiri Hindu Shrines which has been witnessing over welcoming rush during Amarnath Yatra as the pilgrim perform their religious rituals by paying obscene in shape of ' Piter Kriya/ Sharad' at Mattan spring after performing Amarnath Yatra. He said that in other parts of state such places with lesser importance as compared to Mattan, like Akhnoor in Jammu have been developed both union and state resources under tourism sector said, adding that Kashmir all religious places including Charar-e- Sharaef and Dastgeer Sahib have been renovated and reshaped totally with state funds, ignoring Hindu shrines in discriminatory manner. Most of the Hindu historical heritage places have been renamed. Yogi further demanded a separate constituency to be returned for a Kashmiri Hindu Migrants for representing the aspiration of community in legislature of state. He also laid emphasis on implementation of minority commission report for declaration of Kashmiri Pandits as Minority community with the desired status. He appealed to union and state government for taking due care of migrants both in camps and non- camps, till their return to native land is possible. |
