| One held for black-marketing domestic LPG cylinder | | |
Rajouri, Mar 13 : Police have busted a network of black marketing of domestic LPG cylinder and seized 22 cylinders including three empty cylinders from a shopkeeper who was not authorized to sale LPG in Thanamndi area.
"On specific information a police party from Thanamandi police station lead by Mehraj Raina (DSP, probationer) SHO raided the shop of one Mohd Yassir s/o Mohd Sadiq, police source said and added, "during searches police recovered 22 LPG cylinders included three empties.'
"During investigation Yassir failed to give satisfactorily reply to various queries about the dumping of the LPG cylinders and thus was arrested by the police on the spot, police said.
"A case against accused under 3/7 Essential Commodity Act (ECA) and 409 RPC in FIR No 25/14 stands registered whilke further investigation is on, police said. Police added that Yassir was put on sustained questions by the police and more arrests are on the cards. |
