Kathua, Mar 13: Continuing its drive for upliftment of the rural masses J&K Grameen Bank organized 'financial literacy cum credit camp' for disbursement of KCC loans at village Mandli B/O Mandli here today.
Aman Kalsotra, DDM NABARD, who was the Chief Guest on the occasion, inaugurated the said camp and highlighted the initiatives taken by the bank for credit dispension in the diversified activities for the purpose of setting up economic units for augmenting the income of the families and overall development of the rural people through institutional credit.
Savresh Kohli, Area Manager, Kathua also highlighted the policies and programmes of J&K Grameen Bank for facilitating Financial Inclusion programme.
Earlier VK Sharma, Sr. Manager, Microfinance & Financial Inclusion, R K Kalsotra (LBO), Kathua also spoke on occasion. An amount of Rs 83/-lakh (Eighty Three lacs only) was disbursed to 68 Beneficiaries out of which 35 cases of KCC amounting to Rs 33 lakh was disbursed on spot. Panches & Sarpanch also present on the occasion. In the end Charan Dass, Branch Head, Mandli presented the vote of thanks. |
