Cox's Bazar, Mar 13: Three wickets apiece from Gouher Sultana and Sravanthi Naidu led India Women to a convincing seven-wicket win, and a series sweep, against Bangladesh Women in Cox's Bazar. Opting to bat, Bangladesh were restricted to 81 for 8 and the India batsmen achieved the target in the 17th over to complete the 3-0 win. Bangladesh had only two double-digit scores - 18 from Ayasha Rahman and 34 from captain Salma Khatun. But once they fell, left-arm spinners Sultana and Naidu ran through the middle- and lower-order to keep the hosts to 81. The Bangladesh innings featured four stumpings and one run out. She fell in the 16th over when India needed seven more and Shikha Pandey's unbeaten 26 helped them reach the target with more than three overs to spare.
