Kishtwar, Mar 13: A deputation of Chinar Power Projects Workers Union, J and K head office Kishtwar under the chairmanship of Joginder Bhandari today called upon Vikar Rasool MoS for Power and discussed various demands related to the employment to the local unemployed youths in 850 MW Rattle HE Project Drabshalla and submitted a list of 463 skilled, semi skilled and unskilled youths of Doda-Kishtwar belt and also demanded that one member of each family whose land had come under the said project should be permanently adjusted in GVK power Development Ltd at par with NHPC employees and priority of employment should be given to the local youths of Distt.Kishtwar and adjoining District.
The minister assured the deputation that the list of youths submitted by the union shall be submitted to the Managing Director ,JKPDC for adjusting them in the said project on first priority basis and no person from outside the state shall be engaged in the said project. Those accompanied the deputation include Mohd Khalil Tapal,Mohd Amin Khatri,Bashir Khan,Tariq Patri,Anil Sharma,Shoket Tapal,Gh Hussain Gannie, Jaffar Hussain,Nisar Baderwahi,Shoket Ahanger, Sajjad Sheikh, Laquit, Javed Malipath (cashier) and others. |
