Addressing a series of road-shows and public meetings along the peripheral villages and Panchayats of Tiki, Mand, Seen Thakran Chakk, Jaganoo and other places in the outskirts of Udhampur, Dr Singh described Congress as 'mother of communal politics' and accused it (Congress) of joining hands with communal forces to promote religious divide in the State including riots against minority community in Kishtwar. 'If voted to power', Dr Singh said, BJP will strive to liberate Udhampur region from continued neglect suffered by it. Rising above all other considerations, he appealed to the people to vote for a corruption-free regime to get rid of the scams and misgovernance which have been the hallmark of Congress led UPA at Center and Congress-National Conference coalition in the State.
