Jammu, Mar 21: Vaishno Group of Colleges (VGC) today organized blood donation camp and prize distribution function at on its annual day function.
About 250 students from the college donated blood on the day. Directors, VGC, Varun Gupta and Rahul Pathania addressed the students about their responsibility towards the society and requested them to take maximum part in this social cause so as to save maximum lives.
The prize distribution ceremony was also organized so as to award students with certificate of excellence and facilitate with a memento. Sixth semester students, Ashish, civil, 1st position, Sunil Kumar, mechanical, 4th position , Heena, ECE, 19th position, Chamba Dolker, , Electrical, 11th position Kanika Mahajan, , CSE, 4th position at university level. Mohd. Umar Farooq, civil, 1st position, Vishal, Mechanical, 7th position, Rachita Katoch, 12th position, Rushil Sagotra, electrical, 10th position, Diksha Mahajan, CSE 1st position in university were among the fourth semester students. Ahsan ul Haq Beigh, civil, 19th position, Shivam Sharma, mechanical, 9th position, Ritika Mahajan, ECE, 7th position, Tsering Lasket, electrical, 18th position, Pratibha, CSE, 10th position, 2nd semester students also got the certificates for their performance at university examinations.
Principal, VGC, Lt. Col. A.K. Khajuria, spoke on the occasion and congratulated faculty for their efforts in producing excellent academic results in the semester examinations. In addition to this, he appreciated students for their hard work and determination towards studies and co-curricular activities. |
