Cop held for molestation charges 3/21/2014 11:15:33 PM Early Times Report Jammu, Mar 21: Police today arrested a Constable for molesting a girl after allegedly barging into her house at Pul Doda of Doda district. The accused has been identified namely as Constable Surinder Singh No 1049/D s/o Koshari Lal r/o Ranka Thathri. Police reports said the incident took place on intervening night of 19/20 and following a complaint from aggrieved family accused was booked under sections 458 (trespassing a house)/ 354 (Assault or force upon woman with intent to outrage her modesty) of the RPC. The accused Constable Surinder Singh No 1049/D after barging into the house of one Khushi Mohd s/o Ab Aziz of Pul Doda molested his daughter during the intervening night of 19/20th this month. Following a complaint, police launched manhunt and arrested the accused while a case FIR No 46/2014 U/S 458/354 RPC stands registered against him at Police Station Doda.
