Jammu, Mar 21: District Congress Committee and PCC Kathua celebrated the candidature of Union Health Minister Gulam Nabi Azad for contesting upcoming election from Udhampur-Lok Sabha constituency, and welcomed the decision of Congress high command with great excitement. The senior congress leaders expressed their great concerns and excitement by distributing the sweets among the people and appreciated the Congress high command including especially Ambika Soni, Rahul Gandhi and Sonia Gandhi for announcing the name of Union Minister Ghulam Nabi Azad for contesting the upcoming parliamentary elections from Udhampur Lok Sabha constituency.
They said that the Gulam Nabi Azad is a right and power candidate to make a sure victory over the said seat.
A meeting of Youth Congress workers was held at Hiranagar under the president ship of Rajeev Gupta Assembly President Youth Congress Hiranagar in which Vinay Sharma Vice-President Udhampur-Kathua Lok Sabha Segment was also present.
They hailed the decision of party to field Ghulam Nabi Azad from Udhampur Kathua seat, Azad is a popular leader and has worked a lot for entire Jammu & Kashmir and Particularly for Udhampur, Doda and Kathua.
His work is always praised and loved by common masses. He is a man of development and never indulges in cheap politics. He is a mass leader. This decision of party will change the overall election seat in the state. Both the leader joined the Congress cadre to redouble then effort and rededicate themselves for grand success of Guhlam Nabi Azad party Candidate from Udhampur, Doda and Kathua seats. |
