Major among four injured in grenade blast

Jammu, Mar 21: A Junior Commissioned Officer (JCO) sustained critical injuries while three other officers including a Major of 45 Gorkha Riffles (GR) received minor injuries when a grenade exploded during training at Keri Sector in Sunderbani area.
"Havaldar TK Mangu was seriously injured while the identity of the others injured have been ascertained as Major Vardan, Naik Ram Bahadur and Havldar Sahu.
According to sources, the incident took place when officers of 45 GR were at arms and ammunition training in unit area at Keri. "During the training session, a grenade exploded resulting severe injuries to a JCO who was immediately shifted to Command Hospital Udhampur by chopper while others with minor injuries were hospitalized at 28 Infantry Brigade Hospital at Sunderbani.
