Jammu, Mar 21 : Police failed to arrest any of the 25 accused involved in a murder of a man over land dispute in RS Pura, last night.Police said that investigation in the case is going on and yet no arrest was made when last reports came in.Pertinently, a father of four was brutally murdered in border village of RS Pura late morning by over 25 persons following a property dispute.Police said there was a dispute on the piece of one and half kanals of land at village Langadia following which both the sides, accused and victim's family, used to have arguments with each other in the past. "Last night around 1:30 AM, over 25 persons including some unidentified persons were allegedly looking for a person namely Ashwani who was sleeping at the house of Suresh Kumar a resident of village Langadia in RS Pura, with whom they had property dispute," police quoting the complaint said. |
