Jammu, Mar 21: After passing of 24 hours, police failed to arrest any of the miscreants who snatched the car of a shopkeeper of Greater Kailash area after he denied to pay Rs 3 lakh as ransom to them while police recovered snatched car.
As per police sources, police have also detained a suspect in this connection.
Along with car, miscreants also snatched a mobile phone of the shopkeeper, identified as Rajeshwar Singh and with the help of mobile phone police managed to trace the location of snatched car however, the mobile phone could not be recovered by the police.
Police officers remained tight lipped over the issue. |
