Court denies bail to two in 'Rs 1.75 Cr fake employment scam'

Jammu, Mar22 (JNF): Principal Sessions Judge Jammu today rejected the bail application of Mohd Riyaz and Mustq Ahmed who were involved in much publicized fake employment scam and duping crores of rupees from innocent unemployed youth by assuring them jobs in Indian Railways .
Court denied bail to two main accused namely Mohd Riyaz son of Rahim Ali r/o Gurdhan Bala tehsil Rajouri and Mushtaq Ahmed son of Mir Mohd r/o Morian tehsil Rajouri.
After hearing Adv Ayjaz Lone for the accused persons whereas CPO Kulbushan Sharma appearing for the Crime Branch, Principal Sessions Judge Kartar Singh observed that Perusal of CD file reveals that the investigation is still at initial stage in employment scam of crores of rupees in railway department and all those persons who were party to this criminal conspiracy, are to be booked into and arrested thus In view of seriousness and heinousness of offence, no ground for grant of bail in anticipation of arrest has been made out by the petitioners. With these observations Court rejected the bail applications of the above mentioned two accused.
According to the FIR NO 4/2014 registered by Crime Branch Jammu that the petitioners and other accused including Susheel Sharma son of Dev Raj Sharma, Shiv Jyoti son of Vijay Kumar and Gopal Krishan son of Sardari Lal filed a complaint before Crime Branch, Jammu of being duping and after verification, it was revealed that Mumta Devi alias Matta w/o Jasbir Singh r/o Akalpur tehsil Jammu, Romesh Chander s/o Prem Nath r/o Tatapani tehsil Kalakote, Rajouri, Ranjeet Singh s/o Baldev Singh r/o Teryath tehsil Reasi, Mohd Riyaz s/o Rehman r/o Gurdhan Bala tehsil Rajouri, Mohd Mushtaq of Mourian tehsil Poonch, Shambu Dayal Yadav, Premjeet kumar, Ravi Kumar resident of Madhipur New Delhi, Raj Kishore alias R K Singh resident of Krishna Mohalla Mutra Line Sulkhiya Hawrah Kolkata and Ajay Kumar conspired together and in pursuance thereof allured and cheated the complainants for an amount of Rs 4.50 lakh on the pretext of providing them jobs in Railway Department.
It was further revealed that Smt. Mumta Devi, Romesh Chander and Ranjeet Singh arranged a meeting of the complainants with Mohd Riyaz and Mohd Mushtaq for the purpose of appointment in the railway department and then collected Rs.1.50 lakh from each of the complainants. Investigations also revealed that the petitioners further introduced them to other accused who impersonated themselves as railway officers and they issued fake appointment orders in favour of the complainants. Thereafter the complainants were given training for three month at Howrah Kolkata and paid Rs.1000/ per month. After training period, the complainants were sent back with the assurance that they would receive posting orders immediately. The complainants remained waiting for their posting orders but later on came to know that they had been defrauded by the petitioners and other accused. During investigation it was further found that there was transaction of crores of rupees and till last date of investigation, fraud of Rupee one crore fifty seven lacs and five thousand was detected.
