| Road safety rally cum seminar organized | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, Mar 22: Range Police Jammu today organized a seminar cum road safety rally in Bari Brahmana under Civic Action Programme.
Shakeel Ahmed Beig, DIG Jammu-Samba-Kathua Range flagged off Road Safety Rally at Bari Brahmana. Large number of the students from various schools of Bari Brahmana areas participated in the rally. The rally was followed by Road Safety Seminar.
Ravi Kant Sharma SP Traffic Rural Jammu also attended the Rally cum Road Safety Seminar. DIG Jammu while speaking on the occasion said that various precious lives are lost due to road accidents especially from Bari Brahmana to Kathua and many of tragedies can be averted if the traffic rules are followed strictly.
While speaking to mammoth gathering of the students/teachers and respectable citizens of that area, Beig said that loss of precious lives in the road accidents lead a happy family into darkness as it adversely affects the studies of the children as well as loss of source of livelihood and vice versa if a young child is lost in road accident, it completely plunges the life of parents to darkness.
