Jammu, Mar 22: The department of Cardiovascular and Thoracic Surgery (CVTS), SKIMS is organizing week long live workshop on Pediatric Cardiac Surgery in collaboration with a team of Pediatric Cardiac Surgeons from Alder Hay's Children Hospital, Liverpool, UK from March 24 to 29.
The workshop is aimed to get inputs from the experts from Alder Hay's Children Hospital, Liverpool, UK who will share their experience, techniques with the specialists of CVTS, Department, SKIMS while operating patients with complex heart diseases. The team includes Dr. Rob Jhonson Consultant Pediatric Cardiologist, Dr. Sanjiv Nichani Consultant Pediatrician, Dr. Balaji Cardiac Anesthesiologist, Dr. Ram Dhannapuneni Consultant Congenital Cardiac Surgeon, Dr. Balgi Cardiac Anesthesologist, & Dr. Reyan Shetty. Director SKIMS &EOSG Dr. Showkat Zargar said that he is keen to see that "Complex Congenital Heart Surgery Program" including neonates and young children with latest equipment's takes off at SKIMS as soon as possible. He further said that the experts from outside are interested to help viable and full-fledged program of Congenital Heart Surgeryat SKIMS. He hoped that this workshop will help to know the advances in said surgeries through shared experiences. |
