| Mothers Day celebrated with great festivities | | | Early Times Report
Jammu/ Kathua, May 12: Model Academy and Shanti Gupta Centre for woman studies celebrated Mother's Day in both its branches and paid rich tributes to all mothers. Renu Gupta director MIER was the chief guest on the occasion. Rupa Gupta management representative was the guest of honor.
Renu Gupta while addressing the staff and students applauded the role of mothers the world over.
She said that mothers are multi-taskers and guiding force in the family and that the role of a mother is very important in shaping a Child's personality.
She further said that working mother have to strike a balance between professional and personal life and stressed upon the students that as children they need to respect their parents and take care of them. To mark the occasion a colourful programme was presented by the students of B.C Road and Residency Road branch of the school along with the Centre for woman studies. The students presented speeches, motivational thoughts, poems, Hindi and English group song on the theme of mother and short skit depicting the role of a mother.
Other members present were Chitra Mishra principal Model Academy, Usha Gadoo, vice principal, Manju Wali, convener co-curricular committee, Usha Chunni convener sports and faculty members. Usha Gadoo, extended a warm welcome to the chief guest on this occasion.
Mount Litera Zee School, Kathua celebrated Mother's Day today in their school premises. The programme commenced with speech on mother's love, her emotions and sacrifices for her children right from birth by Mili R Sumbria principal Mount Litera Zee School, Kathua.
Also a classwise card making activity along with beautiful quotes on mothers was organized in the school campus wherein they expressed ecstasy of love and devotions towards their loving mothers. Furthermore, the students of Mount Litera Zee School, Kathua along with their teachers brought a smile on the faces of not so fortunate mothers on this very special day. They went to the old age home to wish these mothers, a very special and unique Happy Mother's Day. Spring Parade another fun n' frolic event for the little ones at Mother's Pride & Joy preschool was held today. The concept was of staying with nature and acknowledging its various beautiful forms. The children were all filled with pride as they came dressed in eye catchy flowery dress decorated with flowers & self created spring head gears and hand bands, the children also learnt about flowers and various colours. ACM Public School Janipur celebrated the 'Mother's Day' with great zeal and fervor. The chief guest and partron of the School M.L. Babbar and Mrs. Nirmal Babbar presided over the function and distributed prizes among the students and mother's who replied the questions. Mothers of all the students were invited and they appreciated the faculty for their innovative efforts they put to raise the students.
The function started with the welcome address of the principal and was conducted with the vote of thank by her. |
