| One day poetry recital competition held | | | Early Times Report
JAMMU, May 12: The Language Wing of the State Institute of Education organised a one Day Poetry Recital Competition in the regional languages of the state. Twelve budding student poets from the various districts of Jammu Division participated in the programme.
The programme was co-ordinated by Research Officers Anil Kumar, Alka Varma and Anita Kumari.
In his inaugural address H R Pakhroo Joint Director Trainings/ Principal SIE Jammu exhorted upon the students to participate in such programmes and express themselves freely in order to develop their latent potential and channelize it in a proper manner.
Ruchika Varma, Student of Class X of Govt HSS Sunderbani, bagged the first prize, Miss Preeti Lochan student of class X of Govt. Girls Mubarak Mandi Jammu got the 2nd Prize and the third prize went to Mohd Isreal student of class X of Govt Hr Sec School Kilhotran Doda.
The vote of thanks was presented by Anil Kumar R.O. of Language Wing of SIE Jammu. |
