Jammu, May 12: A fire broke out in Ward no 15, at Govt Medical College & Hospital (GMC&H) Jammu, however, no casualty is reported in the incident, police sources said. As per sources, a mysterious fire broke out in ward no 15 of GMC Hospital Jammu, which resulted into panic among visitors and patients at the hospital. Soon after receiving the information the fire tenders were called in. Sources said that the fire engulfed the 'store service' including packet of injections and other items contained in the ward. "However, no casualty is reported in the incident," sources said.
"The staff members and firemen managed the douse the flames, they said. Meanwhile Medical Superintendent of GMCH Jammu and others senior faculty members rushed to the spot to take the stock of situation. They also pacified the panicky attendants and patients in the hospital after taking first hand report of the fire incident. |
