Jammu, May 12 : National Student Union of India today started its signature campaign for one man one post at Jammu which received overwhelming support from the students' fraternity.
Hundreds of students were seen while being part of this campaign enthusiastically. Besides this, several state level dignitaries of NSUI also joined the Jammu university unit for their long pending demand of one man, one administrative post at Jammu University. Pankaj Basotra, President Youth Congress, Udhampur-Doda Lok Sabha constituency came there and said that the issue of one man with one post has a direct effect on the career of several unemployed youth and hence Pradesh Congress is in full support of the issue.
Neeraj Kundan, NSUI J&K also joined the JU campaign and extended his hearted support for the removal of various Professors including JK arma from more than one post. At the end of the day, NSUI team submitted signatures to Dean Academic Affairs, University of Jammu on the behalf of Vice-Chancellor and gave an ultimatum of two more days and warned that if some would not be considered the NSUI will gherao Vice-Chancellor inside his secretariat regarding the fulfillment of their demand. |
