SRINAGAR, May 12 : The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) president, Mehbooba Mufti has expressed deep sorrow over the huge loss of property in the tragic fire incident at Phutlipora Charar-i-Sharief in which six houses got damaged.
Expressing her deep sympathies with the effected families who lost their houses in the tragic fire accident, she said the prompt action from the authorities could have minimized the damage.
Demanding proper and timely compensation, relief for the effected families, Mehbooba said the government should provide every possible support to the victims so that they could not face any problem in the prevailing climatic conditions.
The party senior leader and former Finance Minister, Tariq Hameed Karra including Gh Nabi Lone Hanjura, Former Chairman Legislative Council also expressed their sadness over the loss of properties in the fire incident. They said the government should immediately provide free ration, tin sheets and blankets to the fire victims. |
