KATHUA, May 12 : Seeking a check on implementation of Minimum Wages Act in various private schools and computer institutions by the Labour Department, the president of Students-Parents Association Vishal Salgotra said that the government should intervene in the matter to ensure transparency. In his statement, Salgotra urged the state government and higher-ups of the labour department to make their direct involvement to screen the role of Labour Department and the owners of private schools viz a viz computer institutions so that the real face of undemocratic and exploitative approaches of these institutions could be exposed. Salgotra said that the Students-Parent Association has observed that excepting few the most of the private schools have been befooling the parents and whole of the society by giving low standard of education system and unable to inculcate the value system into the students which are the future of entire human society. The entire focus of these institutions is converged at gathering the money by adopting multiple bogus ways like charging annual charges and many other exaggerated charges. |
