Dream comes true for the Abhiraj

JAMMU, June 19: In the world of sports, nothing gets bigger than the FIFA World Cup and Abhiraj, the six-year old from Delhi NCR, has earned the distinction of being the first child from India to set his foot on the football pitch at a FIFA World Cup match in Brazil.
It was become possible through McDonald's India's inaugural FIFA World Cup Player Escort Program, reports reaching here today informed.
Abhiraj realized his dream from nearly 30,000 children who participated in McDonald's world famous program's first edition in India. He would be the first Indian child amongst nearly 1400 plus children from across the world, who have won their participation at the FIFA World Cup 2014 Brazil through McDonald's popular global program.
He will escort one of the world's best football players, hand-in-hand to the pitch of a FIFA World Cup match to be held on June 28. Abhiraj would be accompanied by his parents to Brazil.
