| Congress workers clash in Azad meeting at Kishtwar, exchange hot blows | | | Asif Iqbal Naik
Kishtwar, June 19: The Congress workers today clashed in full public view during a party meeting at Dak Banglow Kishtwar in presence of senior Congress leader and leader of opposition in Rajya Sabha Ghulam Nabi Azad. As per the details available with "Early Times", Azad after touring Bhaderwah and Bhalessa today evening arrived at Kishtwar where he took the party workers and started interacting with them. As soon as the interaction started, senior Congress leader Mohinder Singh Parihar launched attack on District President Kishtwar Pardeep Singh Parihar and held him responsible for mess within the party at Kishtwar. He also dubbed District President Congress as BJP man and demanded his immediate sacking. As soon Mohinder Parihar finished his speech, the supporter of Congress District President Payare Lal Shan tries to defend him. The angry Congress workers tried to stop him that resulted into heated exchange of words between the two groups which ultimately led to clashes between the two groups forcing Azad to leave the venue. Before leaving the venue, Azad snubbed both the groups and showed his displeasure over the incident. The situation was handled only after the intervention of police.
