| Div Com Kashmir chairs high level meeting of officials | | | Early Times Report
Baramulla, June 19: Divisional Commissioner, Kashmir, Shalindra Kumar chaired a high level meeting of top officials of various departments, public representatives at Dak Bungalow Sopore of Baramulla District here today to take stock of situation in valley.
According to sources, the prominent citizens Panchs, Sarpanchs and representatives of various traders federations participated in the public grievance redressal meeting where they put forth their demands and grievances like Sanitation improvement and proper drainage development uninterrupted power and water supply like demands were highlighted in the camp.
The locals of an area also demanded the sanction and construction of Dumping Cite for garbage with in the town while Traders Federation Sopore emphasized to gear up the construction of Bye Pass Bridge which has not been completed so far. Meanwhile transporters also put forward the demand of regular traffic police deployment for the smooth plying of traffic.
After giving keen ear to the grievances of locals, the Divisional Commissioner Kashmir Shalinder Kumar said that every possible facility will be provided to the people of the area as soon as possible. He also noted the demands, problems' and grievances of the people in connection with basic amenities and assured that these issues will be solved on priority basis at an earliest. Div Com impressed upon the officers to solve the grievances needing urgent attention on priority. |
