GLTF decides to hold protest on June 22

Jammu, June 19: Expressing displeasure over the recent announcement by Chief Minister Omar Abdullah of inclusion of five years of service of ReTs in records for seniority benefit, General Line Teachers Forum (GLTF) has decided to hold protest demonstration at Press Club on June 22.
Addressing a press conference at JKTDC, president of the forum Neeraj Sharma criticized and condemned the announcement of Chief Minister and termed the decision taken in haste and which is going to give adverse effects on the Education Department. He also said that this move of government, has shaken the sentiments and future of thousands of general line teachers is pushed in dark, who have spent their life time to attain higher qualifications for facing the SSRB.
He further said that there is a wide discontentment and disappointment among general line teachers over this announcement of government.
