| JKMEF warns to start agitation if demands not met | | | Early Times Reporte
Jammu, June 19 : Jammu Kashmir Medical Employees Federation today warned to start protests and agitations in future if the genuine demands of the employees are not considered. Sushil Sudan, President, Jammu Kashmir Medical Employees Federation today held a meeting to discuss the problems being faced by the Medical Employees fraternity. He appealed government to settle pending cases for Regularization of Adhoc/Contractual and consolidated employees. Further, the services of Adhoc/Contractual/Consolidated who have already been regularized from time to time be also taken into account as they have served in the department on adhoc/contractual/consolidated basis for 10-20 years during odd hours and militancy period and are now at the verge of retirement. He said that Pay anomaly of Ministerial staff/Drivers have not been removed despite repeated requests submitted to the Government. "The Government has already issued orders for removal of pay anomalies of Accounts Personnel/Patwaris/Live Stalk Assistants etc. Further, the Ministerial Staff also be given two and half days pay as per Govt Order No. 274-HME of 1992 as they are performing duties on Sundays and Gazetted Holidays", he demanded. The salary of FMPHWs borne on the establishment of 2211-Family Welfare be drawn on monthly basis. He also highlighted that the Divisional Departmental Promotion Committee has been conducted on 30-04-2014 for promotion of various categories but despite of more than one and half month period the orders in favour of the promotes have not been issued so far. "The Pharmacists, Dental, Laboratory, X-Ray and Opthlamic have not been promoted to the next higher post after 2010-11 despite number of posts vacant in the department and public is suffering", he claimed. |
