| Mufti gives due representation to youth: Hamid Choudhary | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, June 19: People's Democratic Party (PDP) leader and party coordinator for Jammu-Poonch Parliamentary constituency, Abdul Hamid Choudhary today said that PDP's Political Affairs Committee (PAC) under the chairmanship of party patron Mufti Mohammad Sayeed has given due share to youth in coming assembly elections. He said that Mufti Mohammad Sayeed was also committed to formulate a comprehensive and exclusive policy to address issues relating to youth of the State. Choudhary Hamid in his statement added that names of twenty five candidates have been announced in which youth have been given due representation. He hoped that these elections would prove to be a deciding one and sought people's support in favour of party candidates. He said that victory of these candidates would be followed by a massive interactive programmes with youth at every district headquarter of the State so that a feedback is obtained before formulating the youth policy. Mufti Mohammad Sayeed and party Chief Mehbooba Mufti, he asserted were committed to empower youth in our state by giving them due political representation. The party leaders were also for formulation of such a policy wherein youth could channelize their energy aimed at their welfare and betterment. He urged people to support party candidates and script a new chapter in the political history of J&K State. People, Choudhary Hamid said were sick of corruption, nepotism, favouritism and unemployment. Time has come for a big change in the system of governance which is only possible if PDP comes to power and formulates a wide-ranging youth policy besides set rule of law here. |
