| Woman along with minor daughter commits suicide | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, June 22 : A woman along with her 4 year-old daughter allegedly committed suicide by consuming some poisonous substance at her maternal house in Channi Himmat.
The deceased has been identified as Pallavi Choudhary while identity of her 4 year daughter has been established as Gudia.
Police sources said that owing to some estranged relations with her husband, Pallavi was staying at her maternal house at Channi Himmat.
Today during evening duo were found dead and two glasses of cold drink were also found in the room. Police sources further said that she had mixed some poisonous substance in the cold before drinking.
Both the bodies were sent to the mortuary of the Government Medical College and Hospital (GMC&H) and after post-mortem, the bodies will be handed over to their family members for last rites.
A case in this connection has been registered and further investigation is going on. |
