| PDP SC, OBC wing lambasts Political parties for ignoring backward classes | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, June 22: People Democratic Party Scheduled Caste (SC)/Other Backward Classes (OBC) wing today lambasted all political parties including Bhartiya Janta Party, National Conference and Congress for their failure to address the long pending issuesof backward classes. As per press release, a meeting of PDPSC/OBC wing was held under the leader of its vice chairman Madan Lal Chalotra.
Addressing the meeting, Madan Lal Chalotra said that the people belonging to OBC are facing grave hardship as the present government has failed to solve their grievances. He added that National Conference president and then Chief Minster, Dr Faroq Abdullah took initiative against the OBC people and snatched the share of reservation 27 percent. Similarly, BJP has launched anti-mandal commission agitation to crush the mandal commission report resulting the commission report has not been implemented so far. He assured that PDP has vision to safe guard the people of Jammu and Kashmir as well as SC/ OBC. He added the party has adopted the healing touch policy for upliftment of poor/ downtrodden society. |
