| Congress Seva Dal holds protest against price hike | | | | Jammu, July 19: J&K Congress Seva Dal staged demonstration against the BJP for rising prices especially daily need items. According to press release, a number of demonstrators were assembled under the leadership of Balvinder Singh Sambyal Chief J&K Congress Seva Dal at Press Club Jammu and shouted slogans against the daily need amenities like potato, onions, tomatoes, other vegetables which are available in soaring rates. Speaking on the occasion Sambyal said that this was the history in India, without summoned the parliament budget session and BJP has hiked rail freight rate and rail fare, which is the main reason of price rise of essential commodities of daily need and BJP imposed the huge rail fare/freight for the yatris. Congress Seva Dal demands for special package to those persons who carrying the Ashes of dead persons to Haridwar and other religious places and the four hundred rail fare which has been charged from a person one sided, this is very huge and uncomfortable hike of rail fare for the last rites of the deceased relatives. Sambyal warn to the BJP Govt if the Govt. would not brought down rail fare and other essential commodities Congress Seva Dal will not sit silent and adopt the agitation path in the entire state and BJP should take it on priority to reduce this huge rail fare and curtail it immediately to respect the Hindus sentiments. He alleges the BJP for doing the conspiracy to promote the corporate houses in India by floating the idea of privatization in rail and other sectors. Thus the poor persons being neglecting and mostly leader of the BJP hoarding essential commodities daily use items, they should be put behind the bars and stern action be taken against such elements", he added. |
