SAMBA, Aug 6: PHE daily Wagers workers Association Samba today held a protest rally under the leadership of Kalbushan Singh, president of the daily wager association, organized a massive protest demonstration on the last leg of the agitation in Samba here today.
A large number of employees participated in the demonstration and raised anti-Government slogans, which they have alleged have miserably failed to regularize the services of daily rated, need basis and casual workers even after 20 years.
The protest rally started from tehsil office Samba and culminated to Sumb Road, Link Road, National Highway and reached to Tehsil office Samba. Meanwhile, the Association said that it will observe 24 hours symbolic 'Kaam Chhore Hartal' on Aug 8, 2014 to force the State Government to redress all the demands of the employees without any further delay. |
