Kathua, Aug 6: In order to highlight their problems and various issues being faced by the locals in absence of independent/separate transformer, a deputation of village "Dadoli" led by BSP leader Som Raj Manjotra at Kathua called on DC Kathua here today.
While apprising DC Kathua, Som Raj Manjotra and Kewal Krishan said that due to the lack of electric transformer the agriculture activities are greatly affected in the area through which the farmers are made to suffer at large.
They said some years ago, MLA Kathua had sanctioned a transformer in village Dadoli but even after lapse of years transformer yet has to become a reality as the sanctioning remains confined up to paper due to which the electricity crisis is prevailing and affecting the agriculture production of the area.
DC Kathua paid a patient ear to the deputation and assured for addressing the problem soon.
Among those who comprised the deputation include Raman Kumar, Heera Singh, Pawan Kumar, Vijay Kumar and many others. |
