| Congress delegates discuss issues | | | Early Times Report SAMBA, Aug 6: A meeting of Congress workers was held at Hiranagar in connection with one day convention of Congress delegates of District Kathua and Samba which will be addressed by Ghulam Nabi Azad leader of the opposition in Rajay Sabha , Ambika Soni General Secretary All India Congress Committee and Prof Saifu-Din- Soz President Pradesh Congress Committee on August 9, 20014. As per press release, large number of Pradesh District and Block office bearers and delegates participated in the meeting. Speaking on the occasion , speakers highlighted various demands like implementation of 73rd Amendment incorporated in J&K Panchayat Act, Payment of compensation of crops and land to the people residing on Zero lines. Increase of Salary of SPO's working in Police department at a meager salary of Rs 3000/ per month. Subash Chander Gupta Formenr MLC and President District Congress Committee Kathua while addressing the delegates stressed the need of unity among the workers for fighting against the communalism as our party is a secular party and believes in secularism. He assured the public that the genuine demands will be projected at the highest form. |
