The mature politician or a personality is that
which defuses the turmoil and tirelessly exerts to unite the lot of society having void because of mistrust. In this process one has to never touch that part of the history which widens the void or instigates for the violent end in the separated people. This state is misfortunate to have only those political/ religious leaders who are fueling the fire every day. Dr. Kamaal son of Sheikh Abdullah sahib, brother of Mr.Farooq Abdullah and uncle of Mr. Omer Abdullah had exposed his maturity by fanning the fire at a time when entire wise heads must be pondering to overcome the present incidents in valley and the common, poor valley inhabitants must be clamoring for the peace to earn bread for their family in tourist seasons supplemented by the yatras. If the National Conference is truly a secular party having the pain and dream for the betterment of state and Nation as claimed by him there would have no word for Autonomy. They must have battled for the removal of article 370 to let the state and valley people mingle with the national mainstream. They must have tried their best to unite the valley people with the Jammu region inhabitants. This party must have worked for the settlement of Punjabi Muslims and the other migrated from the now Pakistan occupied Kashmir. They must have co-operated in organizing return of Kahmiri Pundits back in valley.
Originally, in 1932, Mr. Sheikh Abdullah had raised a political party named as “J&K Muslim Conference” after returning from Aligarh completing higher studies sponsored by the then Maharaja Hari Singh of this state. To become Sultan of this state he started provoking valley people on religious cards rising against the said Maharaja. To provide deep thrust to expand his wings he renamed his political party as “All J&K National Conference” with help of National leaders assuring them to assist in Anti-British movement. In 1944 Sheikh Abdullah launched a program of “Naya Kashmir”, in the same year Jinnah visited this state. National Conference hosted a fabulous reception to him and had a deep closed door meeting with him. This was very clever and intelligent maneuver that Sheikh had very close rapport with Kashmiri Pundit Jawaharlal Nehru, Maullana Azad and Gafar Gandhi too.
National Conference had telegraphically, clearly requested”Cripps Mission” to put un-challengeable claim of freedom when British powers from India are withdrawn. In 1946 Sheikh Abdullah had started “Quit Kashmir” movement and on 17th May 1946 in his speech he said to get rid of Dogras and called upon Kashmiries to join “Jihad” as soldiers. Agitators of that movement are called “Freedom Fighter” and “Martyr Day” is celebrated by the successive state governments including the Jammu based congress leaders. Thus Sheikh Abdullah had initiated the “Jihad” against Hindus and India on 17th May 1946 then where the patriotism for the Nation claimed by the National Conference leaders or supports stand for?
In fact the National Conference being exclusive asset of Abdullah family, like National Congress (I) of Nehru-Gandhi family, has kept that Jihad, movement and aim alive to establish their independent rule over the state. The Pakistan after defeats of three wars had started “Proxy War” which found alliance with this party rooted in the valley.
The inclusion of the Art, 370 in the constitution for this state which Sheikh had maneuvered with the help of his family friend Jawaharlal Nehru in spite of cautioned and refusal for this by the renowned personality B.R. Ambedakar and by the learned Maullana Hasarat Mohani, a member of Indian Constituent Assembly who had said that “Grant of special stature to Kashmir on the score of religion would enable Kashmir to become independent afterwards whose party they refused to become”. But the then Prime Minister remained adamant having personal grudge with Maharaja Hari Singh and special soft corner with Sheikh made the Dogras and the entire Nation at ransom for continuation of friendship from Jawaharlal-Sheikh, Dr, Farooq-Rajiv Gandhi and now Rahul Gandhi and Omer Abdullah to flourish.
These two families have dominated the political scenario by hooking their political parties to act on their tunes and never let any other leader flourish in these political groups. Pt. Jawaharlal Nehru used the Kamraj plan to snub the most prominent leaders expanding their wings who were truly loved by the inhabitants of states they governed as Chief Ministers and prominent as National leader like, S. Partap Singh Kairon in Punjab and Bakhshi Gulam Mohamed in this state with the excuse of using their talent and services for the betterment of the congress party, finally Madam Indira Gandhi further split congress dominantly known as Congress(I). To create counter to keep a balance against such leaders, Mr. Mufti and other Hurriyat leaders in this state, Bhinderwala in Punjab are exemplary for it. It was congress who let the Militants released in lieu of so called kidnapping of Dr. Rubina daughter of Mr. Mufti who was Home Minister at Center under Congress rule.
Mr. Mufti formed PDP balancing valley political weight to keep National Conference busy for its survival. Hurriyat leaders were created by the congress think tankers who were and are working as adviser to PM and Congress (I) head happen to be hailing from the valley itself. Such created leaders never remained loyal to the creator. Political PDP party still remains as a personal property of Mufti family, Ms. Mehbooba becoming President of it to counter Mr.Omer Abdullah to continue the tug war of power, both’s father are grooming their wards. Both the parties are blackmailing the central governments on the one part and the entire nation on the other as the Congress (I) is patterning them. Hurriyat leaders have openly joined hands with the Pakistan and its organizations to let these regional and National political parties to dance on their tunes. These two regional parties are grappling to win over the vote bank of valley for which the ruling group constitutes enquiries against the security forces, curses the non-valley people. The PDP to capture the throne is raising the entire nuisance in valley even uttering all the un-human, anti-national and vulgar words against the security forces. At this time this is the mouth piece of the Hurriyat lot who are feeding their mouth with the Pakistani delivered words. They are spreading hatred against the entire nation not letting any non-valley person to be in valley, may it belong to Hindu, Muslim or any other religion of this sub-continent. This all shall exchange their roles if the PDP succeeds dethroning the National Conference. If the valley people are so fed up of the India and Indians, asking for their outstation and clamoring for Azadi, they must classify what Azadi they are wishing and dreaming for? If they are confident of survival without India and Indians, right in the first stroke should stop begging for development funds and all other necessities including snapping trade in and through India. They must create enough funds from valley for valley without grabbing from the Jammu region income. If they are confident of living without non-valley people, boycott electric growth of Jammu region, leave the Lakhanpur income and all the dole and loan seeking from India. Confine J&K Bank commercial transactions in and for valley only. Let the state government deal with the Jammu and Ladakh regions with their own adjustments including with India and Indians without the string of Art.370. The state governing authorities should be satisfied that the valley is worth and fit for the Azadi to exist and survive, let them recommend this for the Nation to consider.
If the valley Muslim really hate India and Indians then why they are rushing to the Indian states for business, treatment, settlement and education? Why the Hurriyat leaders drawing three pensions, seeking medical care, letting their children to settle out side the valley and seeking all living necessities from the government without paying for the such services which are happily and legally paid by all the common men of the state. Even valley leaders cannot live without the security guards provided by the government who are paid by the common people’s taxes. If truly they are leaders of the valley Muslims and are rightly fighting for their benefits or Azadi then from whom they need a protective cover?
The valley political and Hurriyat leaders must leave the habit of black making the Indian Nation and befooling the innocent Muslim inhabitants of the valley who are still waiting for a drop of the National funds soaked by the highest layer of the state big shots.
Stop instigating the poor and innocent Muslims of the valley who are loosing their lives for no cause. Let the poor lot of the valley to earn from the trades, jobs and tourism which adds to state exchequer. Don’t make the innocent generation of the valley to depend on the compensations, free assistance or few bugs for pelting stones or raising hollow slogans. Don’t waste the caliber of the valley youth let them work for the state, Nation and for their coming generations. Let them learn from the school, colleges and Institutions to serve their families. Don’t waste their precious time with foolish strikes and bunds.
