JAMMU, Aug 6: The fast unto death of consolidated Safaikaramcharis held under the banner of All Consolidated Safaikaramchari Association entered third consecutive day today Outside Office of Directorate of Health Services. Demanding release of pending wages which they have not been paid for the last two years, consolidated Safaikaramcharis raised slogans against the concerned authority. They said that their deputation had earlier met Director Health Services Jammu and submitted Charter of demands to the Chief Minister but all in vein. President Jammu Kashmir Medical Employees Federation, Sushil Sudan urged to the higher authorities to concede their demands. The Employees who sat on fast unto death included Abdul Gani, Ashok Kumar, Mohd Kabir and Mohd Iqbal. |
