| Mufti's 'Vision Document' to win hearts of people: Hamid Choudhary | | | Jammu, Aug 6: Jammu and Kashmir People's Democratic Party (PDP) leader and Chief Election Coordinator for Jammu Province Abdul Hamid Choudhary today said that former chief minister Mufti Mohammad Sayeed has a vision for Jammu and Kashmir State which he intends to reflect through a 'Vision Document' being part of party manifesto for coming assembly elections. "People's Democratic Party (PDP), Choudhary Hamid said has already won the hearts of people and now intends to come up to their expectations as well. "The three years of rule of PDP from 2002 to 2005 was no doubt a 'Golden Era' liked by all but that time was not sufficient enough to implement all the desired and ambitious projects for the welfare of state, he added.
Seeking a decisive mandate for party to implement those projects, Choudhary Hamid said that party patron has launched a mass contact programme in Jammu and is committed to the fact that no region will be left behind in terms of development. He however regretted that incumbent government failed to carry forward the massive development plans which were once laid down by Mufti Mohammad Sayeed in 2002.
He said that Vision Document being prepared is sure to win hearts of people but for its implementation PDP needs confidence of people which is possible only when a decisive mandate is given to the party. He urged people to vote for PDP and strengthen the hands of party Chief Mehbooba Mufti in coming assembly elections for establishment of a transparent and accountable government. |
