Jammu, Aug 6: The Enforcement Staff led by the Chief Enforcement Officer of Jammu Municipal Corporation (JMC) while further continuing and intensifying the drive vigorously against the unauthorized construction, violations and encroachments undertook an extensive day long drive and seals two buildings. As per press release, the team sealed the premises of Sangeet Kapoor w/o Baldev Kapoor at Plot No: 31-A, Gandhi Nagar, Jammu who was converting the building into commercial one, as the defaulter has committed the land use violation. The action has been taken under section 8 (1) of J&K Control of Building Operation Act, 1988. Besides, team also sealed the premises of Vijay Singh at Plot No: 4 P (Pvt), Shastri Nagar, Jammu who had fixed the shutters in the existing building in violation of Status quo order from the J&K Special Tribunal, Jammu. The action has been taken under the section 8 (1) of J&K Control of Building Operation Act, 1988. The drive was conducted with the help of police force from Police Station Gandhi Nagar and force from District Police Lines, Jammu.
