Jammu, Aug 6: Six medicos undergoing training at Dental Hospital (Seoura) falling under the jurisdiction of Gangyal Police Station suddenly fell sick after allegedly consuming food in the hostel mess.
"All the medicos after having their routine meal at Hostel Mess complained nausea and stomach pain, sources said and added, "when their health further got deteriorated the sick were shifted to Government Medical College and Hospital (GMC&H) where doctors treating them described it a case of 'food poisoning.' Among those who have been hospitalized at GMC&H jammu include namely as Azra d/o Dr Mohd Iqbal, Basra d/o Nazir Ahmed, Afiyat d/o Nazir Ahmed, Hadiya d/o Dr Qazi Iqbal, Faiza d/o Mushtaq Ahmed, Saba d/o Shafi Roshi, all residents of Srinagar. Meanwhile concerned Police have registered a case and started investigation in this regard. |
