Jammu, Aug 6: The rescue cum search operation team today was called after the body of minor who accidently slipped into deep water and drowned in river Tawi on Monday, was fished out today afternoon. Police sources said that body was recovered from Phallian Mandaal area, this afternoon.
Police sources said that some locals noticed a something unusual i.e. a human body like thing floating in river Tawi near Phallian Mandaal and after getting information police team led by in-charge police post, Phallian Mandaal, SI Sumit Magotra immediately reached the spot and fished out the body the body.
After legal formalities, the body was handed over to family members for last rites.
Pertinently, yesterday family members of the deceased along with residents of Krishna Nagar staged protest and blocked the vehicular traffic for delay in Army divers for over four hours bri8nging the normal life in winter capital to stand still. |
