Jammu, Aug 6: MV International School organized its customary co-curricular activities from Class I to XII during the morning session in the school premises. Co-curricular activities were conducted to break the monotony of academics and for holistic growth of students. The curriculum for the activities was set, keeping in mind the upcoming eve of Raksha Bhandan and Independence Day. During function, the students of Class I & II had Flag/Rakhi colouring competition in which they added colours of their choice to the Rakhi. Little kids made beautiful colour combinations and Daksh (II-A), Simran (II-C) and Anurag(I-C) were chosen for 1st, 2nd & 3rd positioners of the competition. Class III to V were involved in Rakhi making competition in which students used different decoration material such as beads, sponge, cardboard, thread, sparkle, pulses, leaves, flowers, mirrors etc to present their creative ideas. The adjudicators had to face tough time to judge the competition but Tavleen (V-C), Punika (IV-A) and Prabjot (IV-A) got 1st , 2nd and 3rd position respectively. The students of classes VI to VIII were having an Inter house badminton championship. It was fantastic to see so many students giving a go to gain participation points for the house. |
