| KC Sports Club launches Yuvraj Singh centre of Excellence | | |  Early Times Report
Jammu, Oct 13: KC Sports Club today officially launched Yuvraj Singh centre of Excellence at KC Sports club opposite KC Public School, Akhnoor Road, Jammu.
Parvez Rasool, Cricketer of Indian Team was the special guest of honour in the Inauguration Function.
The formal ceremony was held inside the magnificent 60,000 sq feet indoor sports complex which houses a 15,000 sq feet cricket hall, a gym and a swimming pool among other facilities. Endeavoring to excel in cricket, the eagerest and enthusiastic youngsters of Jammu were present in the ocassion. Rasool played with them and demonstrated a few techniques of the game. The young learners were highly enthused by his presence and felt proud to be in his company.
Speaking formally to the gathering at the opening ceremony, Rasool expressed his joy and satisfaction in appreciation of the efforts made by KC Sports Club in creating a unique state of the art indoor sporting facility in Jammu and thereby creating a solid platform for excellence in sports in the state of Jammu and Kashmir. He advised the young listeners to make the best of the opportunity and try their best to pursue and achieve their own dreams of excellence and success in the games of their choice.
Speaking on this occasion Yuvraj Singh said,"I am delighted with the Jammu facility of YSCE and I am really thankful to KC group for creating this world class facility in Jammu and this will help lot to the budding cricketers from J&K to take their cricket to next level. Youngsters of Jammu have immense potential and need a facility to unearth more talent. I am thankful to my friend Parveez Rasool who agreed to inaugurate the facility on my behalf. It's apt that the best facility in the state is started by the best cricketer of the state. He is an inspiration to many and may he motivate many others to conquer new heights." In the endeavour to provide excellence and world class coaching, Rodney Jones (England and Wales Cricket Board approved Coach ) will be visiting the facility from 25th October for two weeks. Sudarshan Mahajan, (Chairman KC Educational Society), Raju Chowdhary,( MD KC Group of Industries), Arjun Chowdhary (MD KC Sports Club), Siddhant Chowdhary (Managing Partner KC Sports Club), Nishant Jeet Arora (CEO Yuvraj Singh Centre of Excellence) and Sandeep Sharma ( Head of the Coaching Department Yuvraj Singh Centre of Excellence) were also present in the function. |
