| Cop airlifted in critical condition, teen girl makes abortive life bid | | | Early Times Report
Kishtwar, Oct 13: A police Constable of Kishtwar District was today airlifted owing to his critical health condition while a teen girl allegedly made an abortive life bid in Kishtwar here today, police sources said.
According local reports, a police Constable Khalid Hussain (33) s/o Bakshi resident of Horna (Drubil )in Tehsil Mugal Maidan of Kishtwar District was today airlifted in critical condition from District Hospital (DH) Kishtwar where he was admitted this morning following blood vomiting complaint.
"Keeping in view of heavy blood loss, the doctors at District Hospital Kishtwar tried to review his condition through blood transfusion but his condition deteriorated further. Later on the request of the administration the IAF chopper airlifted him to Government Medical College Jammu for advance treatment.
Meanwhile in another incident, a teen girl hailing from Pochhal of Kishtwar attempted suicide by jumping into river Chenab from Bhandarkoot bridge to end her life, but timely action from local people, police & troops of 11 RR rescued the girl. Meanwhile Police has taken the accused under custody and has started investigation to ascertain the cause which forces her to take such an extreme step. |
