KBK concerned over ‘work halt’ at Rattley Project

Kishtwar, Oct 13 : Kissan Board Kishtwar expressed concern over the abandoning wok on Rattle power Project by GVK Company leaving hundreds of unemployed youth jobless. According to press release, a meeting of KBK was held under the Chairmanship of Senior Congress leader and Member Kissan Board, Shamsher Singh Bhandari has expressed over callousness of said company toward jobless youth.
The meeting sought immediate intervention of Chief Minister, Omar Abdullah and MoS in PMO, Dr. Jitender Singh, asking them to impress upon the said company to start the work as its decision has rendered hundreds of youth of the area jobless. Bhandari said that the decision will also delay the timely completion of the project that in turn will hamper the development of the State which is already facing power crises and was depended on other States for supply of power despite having lot of natural resources on its own. The meeting among others was addressed by Farooq Ahmed Tapal, Nisar Ahmed Mir, Surjeet Kumar and Akshay Kumar.
