Udhampur, Oct 13: The Army's Trishul Division has organized a 'Medical cum Vet Camp' in village Nurnis in Ladakh today for the treatment of local populace and their livestocks. According to press release, the camp aimed at enhancing the awareness of the locals about their health, sanitation, diseases due to weather change and treatment of their livestock. During the camp free medicines were also distributed to the locals and civil. Animals and livestock were treated by the veterinary officers. "The Trishul Division" in conjunction with the civil administration has been taking up numerous projects to provide basic amenities to the civil population in remote areas of Eastern Ladakh, which include medical and Vet Camps, National Integration tours, Women Empowerment Centres, Literacy Centres and various other welfare projects, all aimed to ensure better living standards. |
