Jammu, Oct 13 : The recent floods which came on the intervening night of September 6 has almost wiped out the summer capital and has brought only destruction and devastation across the Valley.
Talking to Early Times in Srinagar, Firdous Ahmed said that he has never experienced such helplessness. "I cannot say whether it was nature's fury or manmade disaster, but it was a wakeup call from Allah and we humans are more responsible for this devastation," he said.
Villayat said that he lost everything in these floods. It is our sins that led to destruction of Kashmir. |
