Various Sikh organizations criticize Govt for not holding DGPC elections

Jammu, Nov 4: Various Sikh organization held a meeting under the chairmanship of Mohinder Singh, Chief Organizer, Bhai Kanaya Nishkam Sewa Society J&K strongly condemned the State Government who did not show any interest for DGPC elections.
As per press release, he said after year 2003, the election which were due during 2008, while it would not be out of place to mention here that under SRO 357-63-C, a nominated Committee of member a fraudulently was made by this Government J&K and approached with a case to the High Court, J&K at Jammu got the matter referred related to Fresh Elections due in year 2008 to Deputy Commissioner, Jammu and made misuse of Gurudawara's funds of Golakhs by spending the money in Courts, elsewhere through mischief members, who were instigating not to go ahead for DGPC Elections and there the Akali Dal Badal using delaying tactics got under SRO 357,63-C during year 2011 by raising the issue of DGPC Elections by referring the matter to the Divisional Commissioner, Jammu, thereby forcing the Sikh Sangat to refer this matter to the Akal Thakht. He further said that Divisional Commissioner, Jammu, had not been able to stop misuse of Crores of funds of Golakhs by these nefarious members, thus appealed to State in a warning to refer the matter to Kuldeep Khuda, CVC restraining the Divisional Commissioner Jammu not to interfere and demanded an enquiry for the period from 2008 to 2014, for misuse of funds/Gotalas so that truth should prevail through enquiry by CVC J&K State by the State Govt. before the Assembly Elections, as Schedule was made twice for DGPC J&K which are due.
