11/4/2014 11:42:27 PM

Early Times Report
JAMMU, Nov 4: Omar Abdullah is trying to get cosy with the BJP. The Chief Minister who once made public posturing of being the biggest critic of Narendra Modi has off late made a U-turn. He is now not only praising Modi but has started singing his tune also.
The Chief Minister has now publicly acknowledged that BJP can achieve its mission of forming the Government in the State. Omar had said that if it turns out to be a reality than it won't be surprising.
Omar also has read the writing on the wall clearly stating the near end of the NC in the coming elections after it was decimated in the Parliamentary elections. It's from then on, that Omar started showing signs of coming close to Modi.
He made public gesture of being comfortable with the Modi when a picture of him, where Modi is seen saying something in his ears from close by, was released. It was part of the strategic exercise of sending a message. Then he also welcomed the gesture of the Modi of coming to State.
The BJP has systematically and strategically outsmarted the Kashmir based parties and politicians. Modi has sent the message that he will not taken for ride as it had happened in the past.
Omar carefully reading the plan and strategy of the BJP is now trying to spoil any kind of possibility between BJP and PDP. He had said that in the Valley it is the PDP that is helping BJP to achieve its mission. He is trying to politically disgrace PDP before the elections and achieve some sort of brownie points. His game plan is if the talks between the two parties is scuttled then he can chip in latter and then enjoy the power latter.
PDP was formed when the BJP ruled the Centre and it came in power then also. According to reports, BJP finds PDP more acceptable than the NC and it's worrying Omar more.
